Background
Calvert County Government is submitting grant applica tions to the Maryland Department of Transportation Maryland Transit Administration (MDOT MTA) for fiscal year 2027 funding. The application includes requests for operating and capital funds from Sections 5311 and 5307 of the Public Transportation Program, as well as Sect ions 5303 and 5304 technical assistance funds. Capital funds will be used to purchase replacement buses, provide preventive maintenance and purchase vehicle locators.
