Background
Every three years, the Steering Committee of the Community Health Improvement Roundtable conducts a Community Health Needs Assessment. The Roundtable is the local health improvement coalition and includes the health department, CalvertHealth, county government and various community partners.
Discussion
The Community Health Needs Assessment uses resident surveys, key informant interviews and data trend analyses to identify the county’s health needs and barriers . The findings will inform the county’s Community Health Improvement Plan for the next three years.
