Background
Since Fiscal Year (FY) 2006, one of the department’s signature events has been Business Appreciation Week (BAW) to highlight your commitment to the local business community. BAW is an opportunity to increase public awareness about the positive impact businesses have on the local economy and the county’s commitment to assisting them in their success.
Discussion
The Board of County Commissioners are scheduled to participate in Ambassador Team site visits Tuesday, May 5, 2026. This year’s theme is “Celebrate Small Y’all.” Fifteen site visits are planned, with each team completing three visits. All Ambassador Team members are invited to the County Administration Building, 150 Main St., Prince Frederick, for lunch at noon in Rooms 259 and 260 before the site visits begin.
